Miracle in Nerima
(Don't own any of them and this was done to give a warm feeling to all Merry Christmas to all hugs.
The Tendo home was filled with guest all of them uninvited. Kasumi watched sadly as another hole in the wall formed from Shampoo reentering their home after Kodachi’s lucky throw with her ribbon. Kasumi watched as Nabiki was scamming Kuno out of money by selling him photos of girls he'd only dream of. Her eyes took in her younger sister as she glared balefully at Ranma as three girls all tried to feed him a special Christmas meal. Kasumi watched as her father and Genma cheated at go. Kasumi sighed as she heard a large crunching sound knowing someone had just came in through the roof. Kasumi jumped with a shriek when the floor she was standing on suddenly exploded with a shout of
“Where am I nowwww?!.” Kasumi glanced past Ryoga’s head to seethe young Gosunkugi boy hammer another voodoo doll onto the tree she and her mother had planted together before she died. Kasumi felt a tear slip down her smooth cheek, quickly followed by another one.
“I just don't know what to do anymore. I've tried so hard to help everyone and bring them together as friends but I don't seem to be doing any good. I just can't stand this anymore.” Kasumi felt her tears come downhard in a Soun worthy flow. Running out into the night her small soft hands covering her face she missed the look of horror on her families and friends faces.
Kasumi walked along the sidewalk barely noticing the chill in the air as she scanned the distant stars sparkling in the night sky.
“I just don't know what to do anymore?” Kasumi talked softly to her self.
“Maybe I can help you?” A gently voice spoke up behind her causing Kasumi to turn around quickly.
“You startled me, I I'm Kasumi Tendo.”Kasumi bowed politely bringing a smile to the elderly gentleman standing infront of her.
“My name is Charles, I'm an angel I'm here to help you.” He smiled brightly giving Kasumi a soft warm glow in her heart.
“Now dear, what seems to be the trouble?” Kasumi watched him with wonder, her eyes sparkling.
“I'm sorry sir, I don't think there is anything you can do to help me, I really think the only thing that would have helped if I had never been born. I just seem so ineffectual I can't do anything but housework.”
Charles looked thoughtful for a moment before talking.
“We've all had those days my dear. But since you are a favorite among the angels I have the power in me to let you see what life would be like without you.” Charles placed his fore finger beside his nose a shimmering spread out from around him to engulf Kasumi. Kasumi sneezed in the most lady like way possible causing Charles to smiled at how adorable it made her look.
“Now my dear Kasumi shall we see what life is like without your birth.” Charles held an arm out to Kasumi who placed hers in his with an odd look in her eyes.
“I know you mean well but there is no way, this could have happened.” Kasumi walked along the street with her escort as they neared the Tendo home Kasumi noticed her tree was no longer there.
“MY TREE!” Kasumi spoke shocked evident in her sweet voice.
“Your not born so you never planted a tree there.” Charles lead her to a window allowing her to see inside. Kasumi’s eyes grew wide with horror as she watched her family.
Nabiki was giving an elder man a kiss on the cheek as he handed her some money.
“Who is that old man with Nabiki?” Kasumi asked worriedly since his face was hard looking.
“That is the latest customer of hers, she never had any positive influence in her life, when scamming money out of other kids caused her to be expelled from school, she started selling the only thing she thought she had of any value.”
Kasumi looked horrified by the implications.
Kasumi pointed to Akane her voice scared to ask about her baby sister.
“What about Akane and Ranma?”
Charles shook his head gently before speaking.
“I'm afraid she and Ranma are not engaged, since she is unable to do marital arts he had no interest in her and she has to date many boys she despise.” Kasumi gave him a look of disbelief.
“How can that be she's so great at martial arts?”
“In your life she is, here I'm afraid she had never learned martial arts. Charles looked apologetic.
“But why?” Kasumi asked sadly as she watched her sister, with her cute face bury in a book.
“After your mothers death, your father has never been able to recover from it. He never taught her thinking it was worthless. Now sadly she is just like her father always weepy and ready to cry rivers. Ranma loved the fiery spirit she had, but that spirit is not in her now. Your father has been trying to keep the dojo together and convince Genma to engaged his son to one of the girls officially before he leaves with another girl. Genma though is weak when it comes to bribes, he won't make it and Ranma will be married to a girl he has no interest in or loves. They'll have a horrible marriage and Ranma will die young never knowing true love.
Kasumi looked at Ranma standing by the doors talking to several girls as her sister ignored him completely.
“The sad part is that this Akane loves him, but feels worthless since she in unable to relate to him in a way he'd find interesting. She eats her heart out now and before when Tofu married another girl his mother had arranged for him. Tofu is also in a marriage that he does not enjoy. We can go there so you may see him, if you'd like?” Charles asked Kasumi gently. Kasumi looked at him her eyes filled with tears.
”I never knew it could be this bad, I guess I do, do something good for the family.” Kasumi wiped at her soft hazel eyes. “Are you an angel trying to earn your wings? Kasumi asked with a small smile.
Charles laughed happily as he placed his finger back by his nose.
”No my dear, I already have my wings, you see when all the angels found how upset you were we all wanted the privileged of helping you, I won and it has been a pleasure to be in your company, thank you my dear.” Charles gave Kasumi a warm hugs whispering into her ear.
“Merry Christmas dear Kasumi.”
Kasumi smiled gently as she started to reply Charles disappeared as a shout rang out behind her.
“KASUMIIIIIIIIIIII”
Kasumi turned to see what appeared to be the whole town out looking for her. A smile brightens her face to see so many people out in the cold air looking around and shouting for her. “I am so loved by all these wonderful people.” Kasumi spoke to herself before shouting out to the crowd.
“I'm over here.” Kasumi felt her heart swell with pride as the group ran toward her their shouts filling her with warmth.
“Your ok, we were so worried.”
”Please don't scare us like that again.”
”What's wrong Kasumi we'll do anything to make it better.”
”MY BABY GIRL Waaaaaaahhhhh”
“Oh yes the best cook is safe.”
”I'm sorry I worried everyone, I needed fresh air and a fresh look, thank you. "Kasumi looked into the sky noticing a twinkling star winking at her.
“Now lets go home and fix a few things that have gone wrong.” Kasumi wrapped her arms around her two sisters giving both a peck on the cheeks. Akane smiled happily as Nabiki looked stunned then felt her own smile appear on her cute face.
At the Tendo’s home the dojo and house were both filled with family friends and neighbors. All speaking happily and excitedly about Christmas. Kasumi watched as Ranma pulled Akane into a corner then handed a small present wrapped in red and green paper. Akane handed a present of her own to Ranma lighting up his face as he opened it. Kasumi’s eyes lit up with excitement as a sprig of mistletoe appeared above their heads.
“GOTTA KISS HER NOW SAOTOME.” Nabiki shouted for all to hear. Kasumi looked around at the large group but no one seemed to be upset by this development.
“Christmas magic.” Kasumi whispered as she watched Ranma lean red face forward to Akane her eyes closed, her cheeks also matching his. Their lips met, gently then drew together in a longer kiss, their arms encircling each other. Kasumi started applauding causing a large round of applause from the rest.
“Thank you Charles, you're the best.” Kasumi spoke to her angel.
Charles blushed brightly as he pointed to Kasumi while saying to all the other angels.
“See she thinks I'm the best.”
