Ranma’s greatest fears

Ranma stood with Akane in the cleared out dinning room of the nekohanten. Ranma looked around the crowded room to see everyone there. Mousse was avidly talking to a planted plant in the corner he kept addressing as Shampoo who was serving drinks to everyone in the room not even noticing him. Ranma breathed in deeply partly worried about the reasons for cologne wanting everyone there. Ranma jumped a bit as he felt a small hand hold onto his large one. Looking down he noticed Akane smiling up at him.
“Don’t worry this can’t be any harder then all the other things we’ve faced.” Akane smiled reassuringly.

“Your right I just hope we can get it over with.” Ranma jumped again as Cologne’s voice rose above the dim of talking teens. 

“We are here to test the right f manhood for any males who wish to try the Amazons rights of manhood test. The test is a simple one you will face your greatest fear then conquer it when you come out. Now who would like to begin this test and prove he’s a man.” Cologne smiled at the assembled group the guys all looking around at each other. Ranma shrugged he knew is greatest fear it was cats and if this could help him get over it then he’d do the test.
“I’ll go first cologne.” Ranma raised his hand to get her attention. Cologne smiled inwardly knowing Ranma would be the first to accept this challenge.

“I should be the one to go first for I am the blue thunder of furinkin high.” Kuno posed mightily with his bokken over his shoulder.

“Ranma has request to go first you may go second. Next times don’t hesitate so much.” Cologne pulled a black pouch out from behind her back. Mousse shuddered as he saw the pouch knowing what would happen was not what the person thought it would be.

“Come Ranma to the middle of the room where you shall see your greatest fear.” Cologne reached a withered old hand into the pouch to bring out a few grains of fine green sand. Ranma stood before her his heart beating wildly while thinking to himself. *I hate cats they are so scary I am gonna freak out in front of everyone I know it.* Ranma sneezed as Cologne sprinkled the green sand over his face as the sneeze ended Ranma open his eyes to see the room gone and only a large open field. Ranma turn to scan the area looking for the cat he knew would come to him. Ranma blinked as he saw no cats or even any signs of cats. Ranma walked off in the direction of the flowers wondering where his fear could be now.
“There isn’t anything scary in here this is a rather nice place. I bet Akane would love coming here too, we could have a picnic and just enjoy this place.” Ranma talked out loud as he walked through the flowers then he noticed something laying in the flowers a gauzy dress flowing upward from the sleek body he knew well his only wanted fiancée Akane Tendo.
“Akane you’re here alright lets have a picnic and enjoy this place.” Ranma ran to her a large smile on his face. Ranma reached her only to see her eyes looking but not seeing. “Umm Akane uh what’s wrong.” Ranma picked her up into his arms that is when he noticed the blood flowing from a wound in her back.
Ranma felt his eyes water as he looked at the blood on his fingers. Rolling her body to him to see her back he saw the long gash opening her up his heart beat faster as a feeling of loss and sorrow welled up into his heart then released in a long mournful cry to be heard all around the field.
“Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo nooooooooooooooooooo noooooooooooooooooooo pleaaaaaseeeeee don’t take her from me I’ll do anything to keep her please let me keep her.” Ranma sobbed harder as he buried his face into her soft black hair. “Anything anything anything.” Ranma whispered over and over as he held his cold body to his chest.

“Then face your fear young boy be a man and tell her your true feelings before it is to late.” The voice sounded all around him as he lifted his head up to see who the speaker was he found himself back in the crowded room with everyone staring at him with scared faces. Ranma shook his head of the terrible feeling of losing Akane.
“Wow my greatest fear wasn’t cats.” Ranma stood up looking around to see Akane looking at him her eyes showing her own fear for him.
“You know then what to do to be come a man.” Cologne asked him her voice neutral.
“Yeah I do I have to confess my love for the woman I love.” Ranma stated simply as he looked over at Cologne for a brief second.
Cologne nodded her head knowing whom he meant. The girls all looked hopeful then Shampoo jumped over a couple of head to land in front of Ranma.
“You say you love Shampoo I so happy.” Shampoo gushed with happiness
“Not you sugar he’s gonna confess to me.” Ukyo moved in next to Shampoo her own smile showing the happiness she felt.
“Sorry girls it’s neither of you it’s…” Ranma looked disgusted as Kodachi shouted out her name as she shoved her way through to him.

“No it’s not you either it’s Akane. My losing her was my greatest fear.” Ranma walked over to stand directly in front of Akane his blue eyes sparkling with love.
“I love you Akane will you marry me?” Ranma leaned forward to kiss her soft lips when a loud explosion was heard behind them. Looking around Ranma noticed many people powering up the auras ready to do bodily damage
“Uh heh heh heh heh I guess we gotta get going bye all.” Ranma swept up Akane then leaped up on the nearest head to go leaping over everyone’s head to the exit. Once out the two ran down the road with a large crowd following after them.

“Guess others didn’t like your fear either but at least you’re a man to the Amazons.” Akane laughed as the two ran down the street.
