Life will go on without me.

Ranma sat in his room, the tears still falling down his cheeks, as he remmebered over and over that terrible day when he lost the only women he loved. Ranma punched his cheek again and again as he recalled his words to her, when she said you do to love me you said it.

"I couldn’t have said it, I don’t remember saying it." Ranma scowled at her, then her other words.

"Fine but if you don’t you’ll regret it." Akane words were full of pain as she said to him. "There’s nannichan water" Ranma again hit his cheek as he thought over and over his words to her.

"Why didn’t you tell me you stupid tomboy." Then ran out of the room.

"Why did I do it, why was it so important to me, the wedding was more important to her. She’d have never cared if I never got cured she loved me as I was." Ranma whispered to himself once again as his heart ached with a pain that would never leave him. "I should have shouted from the roof tops that I loved her that I wanted her only and only her but no stupid me I just thought about the water, until it was to late." Ranma’s eyes clinched shut as he once again recalled seeing her coming toward him as the same time several okinomiyaki’s and other food filled with explosives with a couple of bombari’s flew toward her. Akane tried to jump over some while dodging others but her long beautiful wedding gown interfered in her dodging and found herself being hit multiple times. Ranma felt the blood leave his face as he watched her fall to the ground in a burnt heap.

"AKAAAAAAAAANEEEEEEEEEEEE" Ranma’s scream echoed through the house as he ran to her body. Ranma gently picked her up in his arms while the other girls started shouting over who was to take her place in the ceremony. Ranma ignored them as he gently rubbed her cheek with his strong hand.

"Akane please open your eyes, it’s ok now honest it is please open them." Ranma felt his tears running down his cheeks ignoring the fighting going on around him, the crying of Soun, Ryoga and Kuno. His attention was for Akane only and to wake her up. Slowly her eyes fluttered awake to look at him with pleasure but an underlining of pain in them. Ranma felt her pain as if it was his own.

"See you’ll be fine I knew you would be." Ranma smiled weakly at her his heart hurting as he watched her pain filled eyes speak to him.

"Ranma…..I need to tell…..you…you’re a losey..liar…..I’m dying Ranma but….before I do I got….ta tell….you this I… gotta tell…..you… I love…. you Ranma I always ….. have……mommy." Akane’s eyes closed as though she was sleeping peacefully in his arms. Ranma looked at her then started to shake her gently while speaking. "Akane don’t do this don’t go to sleep wake up Akane wake up please, please Akane wake up." Ranma cried louder and louder the tears flooding down his face as he cuddled her body close to his.

"Akane do you hear me, do you know how sorry I am how much I love you, how much I want you here. It’s so hard to go on with out you. To face so many people when I rather not see any of them. I thought they’d get into trouble for what they did but they didn’t. Nothing happen to them at all, they ruled it an accident and let them go. I thought for sure they’d pay for their crimes against you, but their lawyer was a good one, damn him to hell for helping them. Now they come here to see me, like I would forget you and be happy to have one of them, like I could ever love any of them. I never loved them before I’ll never love them now." Ranma rolled over to look out the window the snow falling softly on the ground, his heart feeling colder then before his soul feeling as though it had already gone over with her.

"I’m going to be with you Akane this I promise and I’ll tell you I love you." Ranma held up a small brown bottle filled with anti depressants. His other hand held a small bottle of sleeping pills. A smile touched his lips when he thought about being with her again, being able to hold her and love her again. Another whispered promised to himself let his lips

"I’ll be with you soon Akane no one will keep us apart no one." Ranma smiled slightly as he thought about them being together even if they had to do it in eternity.

Ranma started to take a couple of pills then a few drinks of water. Then did a few more when a knock was heard on the door.

"Go way." Ranma yelled to the knocker.

"Ranchan it’s me Ucchan." Ukyou stood outside his door sure he would be glad to see her an hopefully convince him to move in with her on a perminate basis.

"Big deal go, way." Ranma yelled again at the door. Ranma scowled at his bottle of pills why wouldn’t people leave him alone with his pain. Ranma hoped she took the hint and left now, as he downed a few more pills with some more water.

The door was again, being knocked on by an intruder. Ranma again responded in kind to them.

"GET LOST" Ranma glared hatefully at the door.

"Hiyah it’s Shampoo I bring to, to delicious ramen for Ranma."

"Leave it out there and go." Ranma figured she wouldn’t get suspicious if he was interested in food or at least, acted like it.

"Shampoo leave here then you eat and you come date with Shampoo when done is ok." Shampoo shouted toward the door wishing he’d show his handsome face to her but knew she had to wait for his mourning to pass.

"What ever get lost." Ranma shouted again then went back to popping his many pills.

"I’m coming Akane I’ll be with you soon." Ranma finished popping his pills then laid down on his sleeping mat. Ranma laid there feeling his eyes get tired feeling as though he was leaving his body. A soft noise was heard like a back ground noise not enough to wake him from his peaceful sleep but enough to let him know someone was there, but he knew it was now to late as he left his body on the floor to stand up in his spirit form. Looking around he saw his father with Soun crying over his body while Kasumi just stood looking shocked by what had happen while Nabiki tried to do CPR. Ukyou stood with Shampoo both girls crying floods as they looked at his lifeless body. Ranma smiled at them it was good to know people did care but his heart couldn’t stay with them since it had left with Akane. Ranma turned around his room looking at everything. Then his eyes found Akane watching him with happy but also sad eyes.

"Baka, you shouldn’t have killed yourself." Akane smiled happily as she ran toward him.

"You crazy tomboy if you hadn’t taken my heart and soul with you I wouldn’t have." Ranma ran toward her while talking then grabbed her up in a crushing hug.

"I love you Akane I always have, please spend eternity with me." Ranma held her close then started to kiss her lips gently but then with more passion as Akane held his body close to hers.

Ranma stood kissing her long and hard while the rest of the family went on working on his body to bring him back to life. After a few minutes Ranma ended his kiss to look her in the eyes.

"Umm now what do we do." Ranma felt foolish his only thought was being with her.

"Haunt the house, that’s what’s I’ve been doing." Akane looked sheepishly at him.

"Really" Ranma smiled at her. "So you have been with me this whole time huh."

"Yes I couldn’t bear to leave you, so I stayed here with you." Akane then kissed him again.

Ranma returned the kiss happily as he held her closer.

"Ranma my mom is also here and she’d love to meet you." Akane smiled at him.

"It’d be my pleasure to meet the women who brought you into this world, uh I mean." Ranma felt silly for what he said but Akane didn’t seem to mind.

"Come on she’s over in the other room."

Akane lead him into another room where her mother was diligently working on some kind of party items.

"Mom, here’s Ranma." Akane pushed him toward her mother who greeted him happily.

"I’m so happy to meet you Ranma, Akane has done nothing but talk about you since she came here."

Akane blushed bright red but said nothing.

"It’s my pleasure to meet you too, Mrs. Tendo." Ranma held his hand out to her but she waved that off for a hug from him.

"Ranma since you were unable to marry in your life then we thought it’d be nice for you two to get married here.

"Can you do that here?" Ranma asked while looking around a bit.

"Yes dear this is like that world but also not like it, you’ll never age but you’ll always have your memories and feeling will grow stronger then before.

"Great then lets get married right now, there’s no way I’m gonna wait for someone to show up and stop it." Ranma held Akane a little tighter.

"Well, I’m all ready so let’s get you two married." Mrs. Tendo finished her preperation for the happy couple then a man Ranma did not know was suddenly in the room with them.

"Ranma this is father Ona, he’ll be performing the wedding for you two." Mrs. Tendo smiled at Ranma who shook hands with the minister.

An hour later the two love birds were happily married their dreams fulfilled.
